Mermaid cove resort - Cabins & Campgrounds


Camping And Rates    

Our camping grounds are located in a grassy orchard behind the cottages. Each campsite has a fire pit and most also have water and a 15 amp electrical hookup. There are showers and toilets and a covered barbecue house for gatherings or cooking should the weather demand. Fire wood is available for $4.00 a generous basket.



Camping rates $25.00 per night for 2 people (add 3 dollars for each extra person) The campground will be open from May 18 until mid-September 2013.


Please note:

  • Reservations require prepayment by credit card (Visa or Master Card).
  • We do not have sewer hook-ups and the sites may not be suitable for larger units.

Mermaid Cove Resort

Mermaid Cove Resort is family owned and operated oceanfront resort located between Nanaimo & Ladysmith on Vancouver island, BC. A beautiful resort nestled in the wilderness with wildlife all around you. The ocean front cabins over look the Georgia strait boasting breath-taking views of the coast mountains in the distance. The are camping sites for tent and RV sites with 15 amp power & Water hook-up. Also showers, communal cover BBQ area, Big playground and lots of room fro the kids and dogs to run around. It is a short 15 minute drive from Nanaimo and minutes away from golf courses, boat rentals, the great outdoors and pubs or gourmet dining.


There are many great things to do like ...

1. Fish in some of the best spots in BC.

2. Explore the Horne lake caves

3. A round of golf at one of the local golf courses.

4.Visit the local artists and artisans in the surrounding area
